my husband had the brilliant idea to make a movie while
we were in glamorous california.

the most whirlwindy trip ever. no sleep on either flight.
looked like crap pretty much the whole trip
which is perfectly fine since now i have something to attain to.

in any case - we went because jamie's bestest most best friend in the world is a genius movie filmmaker, and we went for his London World Premiere!
The movie was seriously awesome. seriously seriously.

she yelled at her "husband" in front of everyone. it was great.

anyway it was completely fun but i am glad to be home.

we had an hour or two to go shopping (hello xmas presents - good bye 100% handmade gifts), and look what i saw in the window of Jigsaw!
ye old yarn, beckoning me home!

i am truly in love with this window display -
i wanted to jump in with some hockey sticks and knit away!

the most amazing thing happened last night.

my. mother. was. on. the. city.

officially the coolest mother ever.
not that she wasn't already...

it's just that kind of day.

last night jamie and i went to see 500 Days of Summer. it was cayoot.

my girls and i had a wonderful time watching it.


i think one of the things we enjoyed the ABSOLUTE MOST was the Short right before it, called "Partly Cloudy".

It managed to break all of our hearts in 6 minutes.

UPDATE! DANG IT WAS DISABLED! well go see UP so you can see "Partly Cloudy"!

two plums up!

best movie i've seen in a really really long time.

um ok so

i don't like reality tv shows, in general.
i'm not like an "mtv" show watcher.
ok i watched the city. but, obviously i do.

but i watched Taking the Stage tonight which I will admit, much to my dismay, just is so good and so cute and just broke my heart into a million little homeroom hating, locker stuffing, stairwell flirting pieces. I just felt like i was in (the good parts) of high school again, and it was so cute and adorable.

anyway i really liked it. the end.
