it's hard to find cute wrapping paper. usually i re-purpose grocery bags/magazines/newspaper/coloring books etc etc and while i'd love to say it's because of eco-awareness (partly, it is) mostly it's because all wrapping paper is flat.out.fugly...

i love halloween.

i love the smell.

i love everything. kind of except the ACTUAL day. the actual day always sucks and people usually look like they tried too hard or not hard enough.

kind of like christmas.

but i LOVE the idea of it. i always carve pumpkins too early and think of a costume i probably will be too lazy to wear.

i'm an idealist, what can i say!?

so i was browsing ffffound (le fave) which led me over to swissmiss (another le fave) which led me to, drumroll please - pop+shorty...

ok so i don't usually talk about other paper companies, you know, i've got to pay a .02% portion of the rent. (we could bounce that up to a .07% if you people bought some more stuff, ahem, clears throat)

paper trail

on top 10 things of favorite things that make me smile, its vintage paper. i especially love buying random packs of things, and you have no clue what you are going to get, until you sit down and go through the package, like a pile of old photos.

now that it's getting warmer (kind of) i'm excited to roam flea markets for vintage childrens books, magazines, flyers, etc, and keep adding to my little collection of paper.

etsy sellers have beautiful ways of putting their packages together, and especially with paper bundles. it's such a better alternative to wrapping paper and i wrap all my etsy packages in it.
