so i went shopping today and this website that set up
shop there asked to photograph me.

i was king of embarrassed to be photographed, as you can see in my expression,
and in the question i chose to ask!

however, whoever gets the most votes or 100% i guess (?) gets $100 gift certificate to Inven.tory! I'd really like that, so please vote "i like it!"

the sprout and the bean

so i mean i wouldn't call myself a FARMER, however, I did buy 2 cans of "grow your own veggies" and one sprouted yesterday! honestly i think i would have gotten less excited if i was pregnant. for those who know me - i'd be pretty excited, so this sprout really is a big friggin deal.

radish is a little slow on the uptake, but aren't they all! oh radishez, you all tha same.

i also have some oregano and basil in my flower box.
i call them reggie and silvie. we'll see how those do.

we ate a marvelous lunch today at a restaurant called Company near our house. It has amazing pizza and a great environment. We were told most people wait for like an hour to get a table (they don't take reservations, natch), but i guess we got there at a good time, cause we sat right down. everything was amazing. it was opened by sullivan street bakery's jim lahey, so i'm not at all surprised.
it was razz-a-mattaz-ical!


it's at 230 Ninth Avenue @ 24th Street. go forth and gorge!
