has come over me.
i saw someone on this bike last week and i completely fell in love.
bowery lane bicycles are made locally here in new york (bk to be exact) and are all handmade. the company is dedicated to handmaking urban-friendly retro inspired bikes that are safe, theft-resistant (!!) and affordable (double !!). they don't have a showroom or store, but they have them for "test drives" at Landmark Bikes and I am going to give it a ride tomorrow, with potential for purchase. I have wanted a bike for a very long time but don't feel comfortable leaving it on the street, but I am confident that this bike is simply too bad-ass to steal.
i can't decide which one i like better, although i think i like the first one best.
you know, skirts and all.

i'll have to ride to find out!
