robin hood

i'd heard of Robin Hood before, it's a great charity that handles meal donations in New York City.

1.9 Million New yorkers - that's 1/5th -live in poverty.
55% of New Yorker babies get born into poverty.
Those numbers are seriously shocking.

I was shopping on Fresh Direct today (if you don't live in New York, click here to find a meal donation service in your area), and they are doing a partnership with Robin Hood. If you donate just $50 to feed a whole family of 8 on Thanksgiving. 100% of your donation goes directly to programs that assist families living in poverty and Robin Hood has a grant that matches donations dollar for dollar.

I know everyone's wallets are tight, but it's a small amount to give someone a memorable holiday.
Imagine if you couldn't afford to eat, or make memories for your own family.
